This 1910 Oakland home arrived with peeling lead paint and poorly installed siding from a previous contractor. RAYCO began by thoroughly cleaning the grounds with a HEPA vacuum and installing protective plastic sheeting to safely contain all paint chips and debris.
Once the exterior was properly and safely scraped, the entire home was primed. Rough areas and repairs were carefully feathered with a HEPA-filtered sander so the new work blended seamlessly with the existing siding. All patches received a second prime coat, followed by two finish coats of premium paint applied by spray and then back-rolled and brushed for a smooth, durable finish.
The improperly installed siding was completely removed. A new vapor barrier was installed, followed by new V-rustic siding. The fresh siding was prepped and painted to match the rest of the home, delivering a clean, weather-tight, and historically appropriate exterior.
